A 1:39.7 lap at Road America with the Williams BMW, a great sounding car. The best lap ever at the real RA was 1:38.5 by Dario Franchitti in an Indy car. And I'm still using a mouse to steer and keyboard to brake/accelerate/downshift.--still not worth $400 for the toy wheel and pedals.
The shifts are also audible which is great. In real life these have an incredible sounding "gurgle" on deceleration--part downshifting and part the deceleration pop--they sound great together.
This actual video of a one-year different Williams BMW has the true sound--listen in the below real video as he lifts the pedal and downshifts into the turns in the onboard views--it is a really great sounding deceleration, almost a bulldog-like snarl.
